Cullina Bistro in Selsdon for all day and dinner meals, then you have El Patio for dinner and Selsdon Kebab for those late-night takeouts is an absolute must. They have been in business since the 1990s and are still popular today. There are plenty of other restaurants on the high street to choose from. Want Waffless or a sweet treat, head straight to “Load of Waffle” for fluffy waffles, ice creams, and milkshakes.

Drinks anyone? The Golden Ark Micropub is worth checking out... craft beers served by friendly locals and an online shop for your craft beers and ales!

The South Croydon restaurant quarter boasts lively traditional tapas restaurants like Galicia, the ever-popular Italians, Bagattis and Ponte Nuovo, a bougie, family-run brasserie, head to the truly unique Little Bay, or for laid-back vibes Boxpark brings banging flavours from all over the world in street food.

Conveniences - Selsdon has a Sainsbury’s, an Aldi and an Iceland, parking at Aldi and Sainsbury’s is on site, so you can do your shop and then pop up to some of the local businesses and cafes. In South Croydon you have the hustle and bustle of Brighton Road with bakeries, restaurants and local shops including a brilliant sports shop and dressing up / party shop that’s been around for many years!

Sports & Community

Gym, Swim, Class, Badminton? - Croydon High School offers a gym, swimming, and classes package to locals that invite them to use the facilities on evenings and weekends at a very reasonable rate. Worth checking out! There are also local football and sports teams. The Selsdon Library also offers a community hub for locals to come and use, including families with children. South Croydon has a bowling club and a sports club, and on the Brighton Road is Regan’s Boxing Gym, Pure Fit and CrossFit Devils Path, with a whole host of different workouts and classes available!
