Love for Hamsey Green. We lived in this part of the area for 10 years.  It's a smashing little pocket area, which has it's own parade of shops, cafes and restaurants (including a Co-op for when you need late night milk). It's a friendly neighbourhood where you will bump into neighbours and friends. 

Local high street heaven. The Olive Branch Cafe, does a wonderful breakfast and lunch and the smiley friendly staff will get your your cup of tea in record time!  Panahar is a must if you enjoy a curry and their Tuesday banquet nights and Sunday buffet lunch are a big hit with the locals. You also have the wonderful Corner House Tea Room and Charity Shop, is a wonderful local run cafe with a book club and much, much more! There is also The Hair Boutique and nail shops amoungst others. You will see local friendly faces here every day! 

Outside space. Fancy a walk with the dogs or the kids? Head to Kingwood or Riddlesdown to rid the cobwebs and get your fix of fresh air. When things get a bit muddy, take a detour to Kenley Aerodrome with the bikes and scooters, and if you’re lucky you’ll get a good view of the gliders taking off.

Sport obsessed. Up and down the Limpsfield Road are sports clubs - Rugby, Football and Cricket. They all have a bar and a garden where you can become a member and use the facilities. Most are also available for hire.  If you like football, pop along and watch the Hamsey Rangers play on a Sunday, you might even spot "Sold.Buy.Simon" on their shirts!
