Why We Love Warlingham
We’ve got a real soft spot for Warlingham — and rightly so. This little pocket of Surrey is packed with charm, from its leafy green spaces and pretty independent shops to the kind of community spirit that makes you feel instantly at home.
Community First
We’d challenge you to find a warmer, more inclusive bunch than the Warlingham Village community. There’s always something happening to bring people together, keeping the village buzzing all year round:
- The annual Remembrance Parade, May Queen Event, and the regular Crafters and Producers Markets in the church. There is also a fun Scarecrow Festival in August which locals love to get involved with!
- Local clubs, classes, and groups that make it easy to get involved and feel part of something special.
Local Shops & Amenities
One of our favourite additions to the village scene is Ales on the Green, Warlingham’s very own microbrewery. Whether you’re after a casual pint with friends or something craftier for the weekend, it’s the perfect spot to soak up the local flavour.
- Proper pubs like The Horseshoe for a pint and hearty fare.
- Date-night gems like Spaghetti Tree, India Dining, and lively Smoque.
- Best for brunch: Dining at 412. The kind of place where brekkie can turn into a lazy afternoon. Need a coffee fix on the go? Flavours is your friend.
Sweet Spots!
It’s not Warlingham without a bakery run. Coughlans serves up everything from sourdough to vegan treats, and if you need to bribe the kids, The Scoop Company is a surefire winner with its endless toppings, sprinkles, and sweet treats.
Sports & Community
If you’re into your fitness, Warlingham won’t disappoint. From yoga and fitness pilates to a seriously tough legs, bums and tums class, Total Body Fitness along with running clubs, Bootcamps, many run at the local church halls.
